Spacing insulators in different variants
Hilpress insulators are available in different types.
DB/P type insulators
Our DB type insulators are unbreakable and have very good electrical and mechanical properties. They can be used even in difficult working conditions, such as high room temperatures, in contact with corrosive substances or in the presence of emerging vibrations. The central layer, designed as a hexagon with two opposite sides, facilitates the adhesion and engagement of the insulator.
They are made of polyglass insulators and reinforced with glass fiber. They are available in red. In addition, they are self-extinguishing and their operating temperature is -40 °C < T < +130 °C. The fire behavior corresponds to UL94-V0. UM stands for the maximum permissible operating voltage.
You can also purchase the insulators with a thread not commonly used in mass production or with one or two threaded bolts "GB".
CO/P type insulators
These insulators are made of polyglass-polyester compound and are fixed with Loctite for self-locking. They are available in red. They are also self-extinguishing and can be used at an operating temperature of -40 °C < T < +130 °C. The fire behavior corresponds to UL94-V0. UM stands for the maximum permissible operating voltage.
Type CO/P insulators are also available with one or two threaded bolts.
CS/P type insulators
Made of polyglass-polyester compound, these insulators are reinforced with glass fiber and can be used at an operating temperature of -40 °C < T < +130 °C. They are available in red. CS/P type insulators are self-extinguishing and the fire behavior is UL94-V0. UM stands for the maximum permissible operating voltage.
CT/P type insulators
CT/P type insulators are made of polyglass-polyester compound and are reinforced with glass fiber. They are only available in red. The insulators are self-extinguishing and can be used at an operating temperature of -40 °C < T < +130 °C. The fire behavior corresponds to UL94-V0.
CPE TYPE insulators
These insulators are made of polyglass-polyester compound and are reinforced with glass fiber. They are available only in red. In addition, CPE type insulators are self-extinguishing and can be used at an operating temperature of -40 °C < T < +130 °C. The fire behavior corresponds to UL94-V0.
Type PI/P feed-through insulators
Type PI/P feed-through insulators are made of polyester and are available in red.
ECO insulators from Hilpress
ECO insulators are insulated with thermosetting polyester resin with 20 % glass fiber and are self-extinguishing according to V0-UL94. They are available in red RAL 3031. The threaded inserts are galvanized with steel. The final product has the rated voltage 1000 V AC/1500 V DC and can be used at a working temperature from -40 °C to +130 °C.
