Pin cable lugs connect a stripped conductor to a pin-shaped contact. The conductor is inserted into the cable lug and crimped using a suitable crimping tool. As standard, HIL-QUICK® pin cable lugs feature a plastic insulation sleeve made of polycarbonate. Polycarbonate is used as the insulating material of the cable lug and protects the connection area. The specified temperature range is from -10 °C to +105 °C.

Pin cable lugs are also available with PVC insulation. This version is an unsoldered and more cost-effective alternative. The temperature range is from -10 °C to +70 °C. The appropriate version should be selected according to the technical requirements, temperature range, conductor cross-section and desired design.

Choose Insulated Pin Cable Lugs or Pin Cable Lugs Uninsulated

Insulated pin cable lugs are suitable for applications where the connection area should be directly covered with plastic insulation. The insulation can make handling easier and supports visual identification according to conductor cross-section or colour.
