Uninsulated female push-on terminals with different plug-in thicknesses

Flat receptacles

We offer a wide range of uninsulated flat recept acles and insulated flat receptacles as well as flat receptacles with branch, flat receptacles with latching tongue and flat receptacles with lateral conductor connection made of bare brass or or electro-tinned brass with different plug-in thicknesses.

All flat receptacles and flat plugs offered by us fit into each other as long as the plug width and plug thickness of both articles match.

To clearly identify the matching product, three dimensions are usually important:

  • Cross-section: specified in mm²; for the insertion of the cable at the rear end.
  • Plug thickness: specified in mm; thickness of the flat mating contact Standard thicknesses = 0.5 mm and 0.8 mm
  • Plug width: specified in mm; distance between the two sleeve walls (also width of the corresponding mating contact) Standard widths: 2.8 mm, 4.8 mm and 6.3 mm

A large number of our flat receptacles comply with the specific DIN (German Institute for Standardization) standards often also DIN / EN standards. Please refer to the product detail page for the respective DIN standard.

Tin plated flat receptacles Bare flat receptacles

Standard flat receptacles

Our uninsulated flat receptacles are available in dimensions according to DIN 46247 part 1 and similar. Made of brass, we offer them with bare surface (abbreviation: MS) or galvanically tinned surface (abbreviation VZ).

The end for the cable entry is rounded pre-rolled, which makes crimping with a suitable crimping tool much easier.

Receptacles with branch

Receptacles with branch

Our uninsulated flat receptacles with branch are available in dimensions according to DIN 46345 and similar. These flat receptacles are always used when a connection to a third cable is to be created by another flat receptacle through the branch.

The abbreviation MS stands for flat receptacles made of bare brass and VS for a galvanically tin-plated surface, which protects against oxidation/corrosion.

Receptacles with latching tongue

Receptacles with latching tongue

Our flat receptacles with latching tongue do not comply with DIN in their dimensions. The latching tongue of the flat receptacles is used to latch into specially fitting housings with the corresponding contact mating parts, so-called plugs.

Our flat receptacles with latching tongue are also made of brass and are available with both a bright (abbreviation: MS) and a galvanically tin-plated surface (abbreviation: VZ).

Receptacles with lateral conductor connection

Receptacles with lateral conductor connection

Our uninsulated flat receptacles with lateral conductor connection and made of brass are also available with bare or galvanically tin-plated surface.

With flat receptacles with lateral conductor connection, the cable is not pushed into the receptacle from behind, but from the side. These flat receptacles are mostly used when there is limited space. Attention, ask us for the special crimping tools, for these flat receptacles.
